OMG!  If you have never been white water rafting, you have got to try it at least one time!  Yes, it scary and it's fun!  But I have to say it was one of the best days!  The weather was perfect, the water was great!  We went down the Nanhahala River, it's not bad at all and is perfect for someone who has not been white water rafting before!  The scenery is beautiful!  A must to put on your TO DO list!!!  I believe you can see more at raftingamerica.com!

Carowinds is a Theme Park!  Half of it is located in North Carolina, the other half in South Carolina!  It's pretty neat to be standing on the border line and have one foot in North Carolina and the other foot in South Carolina.  Carrowinds also puts on SCAROWINDS in October!  It's a great place to go and have some fun!  I believe they have a site at Carrowinds.com!

Several years ago we traveled to Virginia and we decided to take the Blue Ridge Parkway back home to South Carolina.  If you love the mountains and you have never driven on the Blue Ridge Parkway, it's a must have to do at least once in your life!  It is just BEAUTIFUL!!!  I belive they have a website at BlueRidgeParkWay.org
